Sindhya is a licensed social worker experienced in working with adult and adolescent populations. She works under the supervision of Kelsey Johnson, LISW-S and Wendy Pugh, LISW-S. She graduated with her masters of social work from University of Toledo after completing her Bachelor’s in psychology from The Ohio State University. Sindhya will be a part of the School-Based Mental Health Team.
Sindhya specializes in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and crisis prevention. She also has a special interest in treating trauma among young adults. Over the course of the past few years, Sindhya has been able to practice cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy in office and school-based settings. She is also fluent in Tamil and conversational Hindi, providing a chance for South Asian clients to communicate in the mentioned languages.
