Sydney is a licensed professional counselor (LPCC-S) with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders under the supervision of James Deutschle, PhD, LPCC-S. She received her MA in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University where she completed specializations in clinical counseling and professional school counseling.
Sydney specializes in treating adults and children with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders, learning disorders, PTSD, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment issues, peer relationships, grief issues, social media misuse, and attachment disorders. She has experience working with couples, parents, and families as well. Her clinical treatments and interventions include CBT and interpersonal therapy. In addition to working part-time at Providers for Healthy Living, Sydney is a full-time school counselor. Sydney is licensed by the Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
