Beth is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders by prescribing medications and providing psychotherapy.
She received a bachelor’s degree in social work and later received an additional degree in nursing. After 10 years of nursing practice, she earned a master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She practices evidence-based mental health care and encourages patients to participate in evidence-based therapies. She believe it is crucial to consider the entire individual and identify the root cause of symptoms. A holistic approach forms the cornerstone of her practice philosophy, allowing her to integrate holistic wellness into each encounter, and allowing patients to achieve their mental health goals. She has advanced training and specialization in perinatal mental health, which refers to women across the lifespan from preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, all stages of motherhood, and through the postpartum years. Specialties include identity, relationship & intimacy, returning to work, transitioning to SAHM (stay at home mother), and personal growth after becoming a mother. She also enjoys treating ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and OCD. She is eager to connect with you and begin your journey of wellbeing! |
