Brandy is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental and emotional disorders by prescribing medications and providing psychotherapy.
Brandy received her master's degree in nursing with a specialization as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from The Ohio State University. Before coming to Providers for Healthy Living, Brandy was a pediatric mental health nurse for 7 years with experience in residential, inpatient, and outpatient care. She was also a psychiatric nurse practitioner at a local mental health hospital providing care for inpatient, partial hospital, and intensive outpatient programs. Raising awareness regarding mental health has always been a top priority for Brandy, as well as ensuring safe and positive outcomes for each patient she cares for. In her free time, Brandy loves spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and teaching gymnastics and dance on the weekends. Brandy is licensed by The Ohio Board of Nursing.
