Ginny is a licensed professional clinical counselor with training to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental disorders. She received her master's degree in counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Prior to joining Providers for Healthy Living, Ginny was a therapist at a local psychiatric hospital, where she conducted assessments and provided individual and group therapy.
Ginny has experience working in a variety of settings (inpatient hospital, outpatient, community-based mental health center, and private practice). Ginny's clinical interests include helping people who have experienced physical, psychological or emotional trauma and helping them find hope and healing. She has worked with a variety of ages, cultures and issues related to grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and adjustment issues.
