What Groups are Currently Offered?
- ADHD SKILLS GROUP FOR ADULTS (a 4 week group offered monthly) - this group teaches the skills to help with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms that pills don't help with - we will discuss how ADHD affects mood, sleep, relationships, work, school, and home life, and will provide helpful strategies and tips to overcome some of these challenges
- DBT SKILLS GROUP FOR ADULTS AND ADOLESCENTS (16+) (offered on an ongoing basis but entry is restricted to the start of each 3 month module) - this group covers all four DBT modules over a 6-month period, including Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness - this isn't a support or process group, patient's don't have to talk if they don't want to, and is run more like a class (like in college) where you learn skills then take the information back to your individual therapist to process and learn how to apply the skills to your individual situation
- WORLD EVENTS SUPPORT GROUP (currently ongoing) - this group is meant for those impacted by recent world/news events and would thrive in a supportive setting to discuss opinions and impact of happenings, while also learning valuable skills to handle exposure to such events
