Lawrencia Appiah-Kubi, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Picture
Lawrencia is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders with medication and psychotherapy.  She is passionate about supporting children and families, especially those within immigrant communities.  She has a special interest in working with parents of children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders, helping them better understand their child’s needs while finding practical ways to support their growth and well-being.

Lawrencia has a bachelor's degree in psychology and French from the University of Ghana and earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing.  As both a clinician and a compassionate listener, she creates a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.  She believes that when parents are supported, children flourish, and that everyone deserves care that honors their culture, values, and unique story.  Drawing on her background, she integrates evidence-based treatments with empathy and cultural awareness to help clients thrive.

Lawrencia is licensed by The Ohio Board of Nursing. Her license can be verified on this website:  https://elicense.ohio.gov.
