Melanie is a licensed independent social worker trained to diagnose and treat emotional and mental disorders. She has a master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University.
Melanie has previous experience working with children and their families in school and residential settings. Prior to joining Providers for Healthy Living in 2016, Melanie was a school clinician at St. Vincent Family Center where she provided a variety of mental health services in the partial hospitalization and residential programs. Melanie has specialized training in trauma-focused care including the Neurosequential Model of trauma-informed care. Over the last several years, Melanie has worked with teens and adults with ADHD, trauma, OCD, Tourette's-related concerns, anxiety, and depression. Melanie also specializes in assisting post-collegiate students in transitioning to the next phase of life. Melanie sees ages 11 to 55.
